Powerful Bar Editing
A suite of specialized reinforcement editing routines helps you manage the detailing and scheduling process. For example, options are included to draw bars automatically in full size, to rescale entire details instantaneously, or to insert openings into a group of bar ranges.
Parametric Detailing
PowerRebar allows you to re-use your concrete details over and over, minimizing the need for duplication. Dynamic dimensions are a significant part of the parametric tool set. Adding a Prompt to a dynamic dimension allows you to quickly change that dimension from one detail to the next. Dynamic dimensions can also be linked via equations for intelligent resizing of concrete arrangements. Prompts and equations are added to individual bars to automate the changes in your reinforcement.
Rebar Object Library
User-definable objects make it easy to create new objects – from scratch or via quick modifications to existing objects. Concrete and reinforcement details are retrieved dynamically from the Rebar Object Library to suit new sizes and orientations. The objects are scheduled automatically as the dynamic dimensions are resized. Objects are useful for automating the detailing of stairways, beams, columns, slabs, walls, piers and footings, retaining walls, and bridges.
